New York NY, August 2009: There were no rising stars in the New York City sky this past weekend they were all on stage at the Highline Ballroom for the first BreakN Through Pop and R & B Concert a new showcase in New York City for undiscovered talent. The first show of this historic concert series, which raised funds for the VH-1 Save The Music Foundation, featured performances by five of the top unsigned artists in pop and r & b: Tina Brown, Brian Gibbs, Leah Fairchild, Chey.N, Stefani Vara and AHMIR. Rap icon and Rock n Roll Hall of Famer Darryl DMC McDaniels arrived in style to show his support for the next generation of music super-stars. Founder Ben Aronson of TAO Experience is the driving force behind the 2009 BreakN Through concert series. Bader TV was son hand to capture all the excitement and drama.... « less
