The sport of Roller Derby is experiencing a rebirth; today it boasts more than 200 national leagues in existence. But out of the 200 leagues, only 2 of them pay homage to the old school days by skating on a banked track. We, the girls at South Side Roller Derby, a non profit organization, are on a mission to raise funds to build, house and maintain a banked roller derby track. The outlook for our goal is promising, and we are proud to announce that we are well on our way to being the 3rd working Banked Track Women's Roller Derby League in the nation!
